Everything You Need to Know About Razor Clam in Seaside, Oregon
Digging Razor Clams can be challenging, especially if you are using a clam shovel. With the right clam gun, you can be successful in digging your clams with a shovel without crushing or cutting up clams in your bag. At our condo, we have two clam guns for you to borrow if you need to use them for clamming. I will update the rest of the year soon.
The razor clam season in Oregon opens anytime outside of July 15 to September 30 north of Tillamook Head.
- Daily limit of first 15 dugs (no sorting or releasing).
